casual noobie experimenter here, I drink a fuck ton, weed is cool, have been on codeine a few times in the last year (it is cozy as fuck, I have never been as comfortable) and want to get back into hallucinogens sometime next week with my cousin.

With weed, nothing really others than to try and go into it calm like you would with any psychedelics, if you go in anxious it's not going to be any fun.

Most drugs should be legalized IMO, it prioritizes safe use and rehabilitation instead of aid needles and ridiculous jail sentences for relatively little amounts of drugs for seasoned veterans.

Not really my drug story but one time a roasty was trying to get in my pants while on mushrooms back in HS, her sitter helped back her off, it was odd to see how horny and thirsty some women get under their layers of composure. (ie it was pretty rapey, but I'm not a standard robot, I'm more on the other side of the spectrum if anything so it wasn't too unusual for me)

One time I took an unknown amount of acid from a vial with my girlfriend and I freaked out, thought I had become some kind of god and struck her a few times. You'll be fine, just remember to hold the smoke in for at least 3 seconds, and breath out slowly. Depending on weather your smoking indica or sativa, you will either feel like your locked on the couch or want to get up and have fun respectively. Got high a few weeks back with some friends and I don't know why but I tripped really bad. Every movement looked really glitchy, like things were moving away in a weird way. I felt like nobody could really hear me and I felt like my soul was going to fly away from my body, and then later on I felt like I was a video game character being controlled.

My friend had to hold my hand and lead me around because I could hardly walk or talk and was sort of panicking. I ended up throwing up later.

I don't know why I reacted so badly, I only took like 3 puffs, and no one else seemed too phased.

There are so many lsd analogues these days that do the same thing that there really isn't a way to tell, such as lsa. Shrooms, easy. Obviously.

Dmt is harder to tell by looking because there are so many ways to make it, and things to make it from it looks different every time. If you smoke it though it's pretty easy to tell. Only real dmt gives you a dmt high.

Got some guides and it sounds easy, I just have to figure out how to use my oven to decompose my baking soda into sodium carbonate first.

Never was able to handle weed again, however psychedelics are fine now (LSD, DMT). I think THC is just not for everybody. Alcohol also gets me extremely depressed, so I never drink. I really can only handle psychedelics.

It is my theory that many extremely heavy Cannabis users like us are actually trying to self-medicate because they sort of feel that CBD helps them. The tragedy is that regular Cannabis strains contain very little CBD. So we smoked so much that the insane doses of THC exacerbated our illness.

I have since tried one of the new strains that is almost free of THC but loaded with CBD and it makes me feel great.

I say have a good friend on call. Have them be free that night browsing the webs or something, so if you need help they have your back. Have water and some pre-rolls. I had a similar experience once, on my birthday a few years ago. Stopped off at my friend's house before going to a meal with my family later. He had a blunt which I had two small hits off. Had an incredibly strong head and body high which lasted for ages. I stayed at his house for 5 hours and tried to ride it out, then when I went for the meal like 7 hours later I still felt buzzed, and in a negative way. Don't smoke more than one or two hits or you might get sick. Especially if you don't know how strong the weed is.

20% THC is pretty standard these days. 10% is still fairly common and 30% exists, but is very rare. Once in a while you can still find 5% THC weed, which is really week, but okay if you like to smoke big joints or make edibles with an entire ounce of it (with the stronger strains you can make a whole batch of brownies with a quarter oz, or even an eighth).

But if you don't know how strong the weed is...then you don't know it isn't waaayyyyy stronger than what you smoked back the first time. You could get way too fucked up and feel terrible. No, you won't die, but you might get nauseous, puke, and pass out. Not exactly a fun evening.

I smoked every day for a long time and my tolerance got to the point where I could go through two grams a day and not get high at all. I was taking it for medical reasons and it did help for my health issues, but the euphoria/buzz was basically nonexistent.

Syrian rue contains harmaline and harmine, which are MAOIs, which basically means they inhibit the enzymes that digest DMT in the body so that it can produce more effects. 1 gram of syrian rue seeds, ground up and steeped in hot water for 15 minutes, is enough to change your trip. 2 grams for me made a slight amount of vapor quite powerful, definitely not a breakthrough but a 20 minute trip with crazy visuals, and I just smoked 15 mg out of a meth pipe, in fact there was a lot left over when I checked later that night so maybe it was much less than 15 mg.
So I'd say 1.5 grams of rue seeds is about doubling the strength of the DMT, rough guess, I'll need to do more experimentation to say for certain.
4 to 5 grams of seeds is the max if you're a heavy person, beyond that, your MAO is already pretty much fully inhibited and there's no point in doing more, but you could also maybe break through just by smoking a tiny bit. This is ego-destroying territory, probably not even fun how strong it would be.

what you should be saying is the numerical dosage isn't always telling of how strong the acid will be; I know 125's that have been notably more bitey and strong than 150's; and you're rarely going to find a tab with more than 250. What's with the whole "Ego death" thing I always hear people mention when it comes to acid and other psychedelics? You probably get ego death your first time (please don't try to your first time either). I think for most people it takes 6-7 tabs. If you really don't want to change as a person then I wouldn't take acid. Chances are pretty good that you will whether you want to or not.

Anyone else had a weird experience under anesthesia?

I had to have my appendix removed 2 years ago and I was administered spinal anesthesia at first but I guess the anesthesiologist decided it's not enough. I was given something else through the IV and went to sleep after saying some nonsensical shit because of whatever I had in me.

In my dream I was flying through some triangles and some other objects but the thing that stuck with me the most was how I felt like a god. There was a feeling of "oh shit this is how it really is" and that all the experiences I've had before are all insignificant.

I hadn't done any drugs before at that point in my life so it was a very interesting feel.
