My dad was here on a student visa when he and my mom conceived me.
According to my grandfather, due to complications and not keeping up with the visa terms, he was deported back to Peru. Came back several times on working visas but eventually decided to stay in Peru and move to Italy with his family.
It's sad too because apparently he really wanted to be a father and involved with my life but my mother just would not have it. He would even sneak into my grandmother's house just to play with me and see me sleeping in the crib, only to be beaten by my mother and have the cops called on him. My grandmother didn't mind him coming to see me though, just my mother.
Their age difference might have been a huge factor in it all. My mom was 16 at the time and my dad was 23.

I live life almost like a child does. I wear kids sizes, eat kids meals. I feel the real benefit is how much more comfy everything is. I get lost in couch or a pile of blankets super easily. I can sleep in the back seat of a car with ease.
