I'm 5'3 but my people are short. 5'7 is about average height and we are not a height obsessed culture (cause we are all short) so it's never been a problem. I was actually average height growing up. Never was the shortest. Not even today. Still know shorter guys.

However I did two years abroad and it was just horrible. Girls treat you like a eunuch if you are this short.

But I fear I am the last generation of short men who don't have to deal with the heightism bullshit. As our culture becomes more westernised and more western foreigners immigrate to our land we will probably see more obsession over height. Because you know if Sarah gets her Swedish 6' boyfriend then Michelle cannot do with our 5'7 native lads any more.

When I'm not in my comfy home (which I am 99% of the time), I need to sit on chairs that are to small for me, sit cars/busses/trains whose seats are too small for me and don't provide enough legroom, sit at tables that are too small for me etc. I often hit my head when I go though doorframes that are too low, or when I stand up in a bus or something. I also have trouble finding fitting clothes, since clothing stores seem to have no clothes for tall skellies like me, only tall fat people or normal sized skellies or something.
