Uhh. Machine learning researcher here. Tl;dr: no. But your brain is just so complex and has so many neurons that you kind of are more than just signals.

To give u reference where machine learning in Neuroscience is right now, we have technology right now that you can strap onto your head and measure spacial temporal fluxes in electricity in your brain using (basically a 3d + time map of the signals in your brain). Using this technology (Electroencephalography), we can determine whether a coma patient is conscious or unconscious, as in we can determine whether they'll be a potato or not when they wake up.

Maybe in the near future it will be possible to get a complete profiling of someone just from their brain waves, and I have high optimism that this will eventually be possible. But for now, your soul is special <3

The soul is just a metaphor, and has been for thousands of years because we don't understand how the brain works entirely. This is why in movies and such AI don't really have much for personality or emotions; because we ourselves don't understand it. Also in movies and such where humans upload themselves into computers we usually lose our 'souls' because they're tied to our conscious minds, which is also why when you die it's just your body, not 'you'.
