>working on tills in big department store
>constaltly busy line of customers to serve
>call for next customer and co-worker does too
>two groups of customers approach; one middle aged couple and a group of teen girls
>the couple reach my co-worker first meaning I have to serve the teen girls
>they are visually annoyed by the fact they couldn't be served by my female co-worker and reluctantly walk over to me
>buying some bedsheets and 5 pairs of underwear
>they all start giggling and looking at me
>girl buying the underwear is making her distress extremely obvious
>her friends are looking directly at me and laughing
>the panties didn't have barcodes so I had to find the item number and punch it in
>"oh look he's going to have to enter them all in"
>commenting things like this to eachother inbetween giggle sessions
>they turn out to all be reduced to have to get a sueprcvisor to manually change the price
>put them in the bag
>the friends didnt stop staring at me this whole time with a grin on their faces
>main girl looked uncomfortable the whole way through
>they finally leave as i hear them them keep laughing and whispering amoungst themselves to the exit

fucking hell lads is there really no way out? even at work I get taunted and laughed at as if it's still school all over again. I scan fucking underwear everyday, it doesn't make me uncomfortable, its just an item. but these fucking roasties are so insecure they can't handle one guy scanning it through so they can bloody pay for it. What made me unfomfortable was their obvious discomfort for the situation, which every other mature woman i serve doesn't give a shit about. Is this my punishment for babyface and looking like a teenager still? Or did they just smell my autism? or could they smell my virginity?

for reference I'm like a skinny awkward wojack type presence, but at work i stand up straight and all that jazz.
