what do you mean it's already been done. finasteride + minoxidil to halt hair loss and hair plants to put hair back. they may not be the most convenient methods but they work.

minoxidil is pretty useless anyway, its just a vasodilator and does nothing about the root cause of baldness, dht attacking your hair follicles. its mostly just useful in conjunction with finasteride.

if your balding pattern has already finalized or you've been able to stop your balding with meds, then a transplant is very viable. of course if you're still balding aggressively and get a hair transplant, the hair around the transplant continues to disappear and in the end your hair looks fucking weird.

shiseido has a very good chance of being released next year - they have phase 2 tests in q2 2018 and after that they can already bring it to the market. Only problem is that due to licensing rights, the treatment will only be released in Asia (and a few years after in rest of the world, under RepliCel) so if you want your hands on it you may have to book a trop to Japan and that will cost you.
