I really want to buy and wear this exact shoe. Will I look normal or does this style bypass the "autism shoe" meme?
Depends on your environment, appearance, and mannerisms. Did you know that kpop boybands wear autism shoes? The world is an interesting place.
I'm waiting for these to arrive and I want to wear them as beaters, did I fuck up?

I was thinking about getting some new shoes around $50 or less but not sure what to get. When I was in grade school I would just wear meme skater shoes. Then I started wearing meme basketball shoes like jordan's. Now that I'm in my late 20's as a friendless khv neet on the bux and give 0 fucks about appearance or anything really I just wear cheap generic black shoes that don't have obvious branding like pic related. I was thinking of just getting some nikes but they seem to have some autism or "dad shoe" stigma for some reason. At least the cheaper shoes. Why?

Just get some Nike roshe's. They look similar and are normie approved
>>38116630
I did not know that. But I'm not in a kpop band. I'm a 5'10" KHHV white guy whose sense of style is limited to jeans and a random shirt. I refuse to get nigger shoes.

Unless you are Reviewbrah, yes.

Nikes are normie shoes, in my opinion. Those black shoes look fine.

Just get some spensive casual wear addidas, nike etc and get some insoles
Yea the price is absolute bullshit but leave them loose and its comfy as fuck
Buy some black Chelsea boots (mens) from Ross or whatever cheap ass store. They slip on easy, go with most outfits, and women will genuinely compliment you on your choice of footwear
Personally I'm not sure why new balance are autism shoes. I'd never wear them but whatever
Anything new balance is autism.

those are fine man, nice and casual
new balance is automatically 'tismo, just the white dad ones are

>Unless you are Reviewbrah, yes.
I mean they look exactly like dr martens as far as I know, is that bad?
Could be worse. Could also be better
>>38116607
Retro New Balance aren't autism shoes at all if you're in an urban area but I'd go with 574/996/420s over those.
>>38118931
574 are great, you can even make custom color ways on the new balance website.
If you can find the leather, made in england 576's, get those, they're so good.

normal shoe

>not intentionally wearing autism shoes

True. For some reason NB is in vogue in exUSSR right now, it got so bad that every chad and stacy from a provincial town wears cheap ass Chinese made ripoff shoes with letter "N" on them.
>tfw experienced culture shock seeing American tourist grampas in NB
