>>
What kinda project? I think it could be fun

>open source
I guess you guys have experience in programming?
I'm interested in it too, what language are you talking about though?
>>
>>38108561
i have experience in all kinds of languages, i got your c, i got your c++, your c#, i got your python javascript html css php, i got your java and your bash. you name it i got it.

so what are we working on, oniichan?
>>
>>38108607
Do you have an idea? I'm not too sure what it could be. I'm the anon the made the first reply to the thread.
>>
>>38108652
i'm not the OP just another replier. waiting on the wings for his ass to give us a scratchpad so we can go to town on this projects.

>tfw no robot friend into programming
>>
>>38108691
Oh alright. Here's hoping this wasn't bait.
>>
>>38108724
well we don't have to rely on the OP, do you wanna work on something with me?
>>
>>38108724
OP here. Not bait, I just don't have any idea of my own. I just know I would love to work on something coding-related because programming is a hobby of mine.
>>
>>38108607
I got experience in java, c#, php, asp, css, javascript, and currently studying android.
>>38108691
yeah, is the OP gone? just give us an interesting idea and we may hop in.
>>
>>38108762
OK lets come up with an idea, something that will make life easier for people like us

i propose an AI waifu
>>
>>38108754
Sure we could. I'm not the greatest programmer but I really enjoy it. I guess the question is what should we make?
>>
>>38108754
someone just shout out ideas. I'm going to bed now so I probably won't get to see the end of this thread anyways.
What about a game?
>>
>>38108811
A game could be fun! Open world?
>>
>>38108782
Al waifu seems very interesting, but I believe that'd require knowledge in the field of neural networks, at least the more complex robots' intelligence comes from that.

How would it work in terms of structure? Would the Al learn by experience? If not, then the Al would stick to the same personality, becoming increasingly boring.
>>
>>38108811
i could do a game. platformer? topdown rpg? puzzle?
>>
>>38108712
You in uni/going to uni? There are plenty of them in CS.
>>
>>38108837
someone just give a link I have to go.
Games are more complicated, they require object-oriented programming knowledge, do you have experience with that?
>>
>>38108854
we could use the same principles this utilizes
https://xviniette.github.io/FlappyLearning/
>>
>>38108861
those are simple, they could work. I say platformer or topdown rpg.
>>
I propose a 4chan mobile client which can pull from the archives

I'd help since I can do several programming languages, aswell as web design and animation and rigging.

Sadly the last three times I've tried helping fuckers here on game projects, despite doing a lot of work, you'll just get ghosted and eventually blocked as your works stolen and they sell the rigged models or codes.

Don't bother if you want to see results.
>>
>>38108865
Yeah, but I'm socially autistic and everyone there is a normalfag. I haven't made any friends in uni.
>>
>>38108879
Yeah a bit of OOP, I would have to do a refresher
>>
>>38108919
Have you come up with a way to prevent that from happening?
>>
>>38108892
Platformer is just fine
Any lore, main character ideas?
>>
>>38108943
Have you tried going to a CS-related club? The game developers club at my uni was autism central and not too normie-friendly, so it might be a good bet for you.
>>
>>38108712
i don't want a programming friend. i want an artist friend so that we can make games together.
>>
>>38108888
How does this work?
Also them repeating digits
>>
>>38108994
I've never heard of such a thing. I don't think we have that sort of stuff in my uni.

No. You pretty much can't.

If your going to work on a project with a team you need somewhere to put all the shit. Be it dropbox or Google drive.

Eventually 1 or more will say fuck it, and branch off with important stuff and ghost/block the others.

Either that happens, or it never gets off the ground.

MC is a lovable but friendless loser nice guy(tm)
Setting is a post-apocalyptic city reclaimed by nature
The game begins by sending MC to find a qtgf to cook him the deer he just managed to kill with his bare hands
The challenge is the fact that all girls in this post apocalyptic world have somehow grown dicks, and MC isn't gay at all.

I-I'm originally a shitty artist kinda
>>
>>38109052
post it in a pastebin that expires in 10 minutes
>>
>>38109034
it starts by sending random inputs, and records how long it lives. the more it tries, the larger the sample size. eventually it starts averaging out pattern of inputs vs life length, and modifies its random range.
>>
>>38109089
I'd have to make a new one if we go through with this. My main one is tied to my social media.

post your art. i can program pretty much anything you can imagine.

do you do 3d modeling?
>>
>>38108898
Elaborate on this. Since there are already clients out there, we'd be reinventing the wheel for the most part. There's no reason to reinvent the wheel unless you know for sure you can make it much better. I don't know if being able to pull from archives is enough justification to go through developing something like that.
>>
so this fizzled out quickly huh
>>
I'm not good at making games, art, programming and all that stuff but I could just lend moral support to everyone I guess
>>
>>38109681
preciate it anon

If this doesn't take off then I'll keep making these threads for the next few days until something happens.
