I've always wondered this as I see it as a pointless exercise. To anyone who's argued on twitter or even 4chan anymore. What do you get out of it?

Like I just don't see the point as both sides are very set in their political opinions, so nobody's gonna change their opinion or side even if they're proven completely wrong. So why bother?
