I'm probably the biggest fan of Ds2 on this website. No. It wasn't a masterpiece, it was good though, but it had glaring flaws. Here's some gripes I had with it. Keep in mind I haven't played it in a few years
>Weapon balance was shoddy
>Many zones but each individual zone was short and usually bland/boring
>Many bosses but each boss was pretty easy and usually bland/boring
>PvP was locked behind a weird soul memory mechanic and the grind for orbs was not fun, also couldn't use humanity to self heal as phantom
I like Ds2 a lot but it was more quantity over quality. Never played SotFS though

They're all equally good. Each game has its originality.
