Anyone else here listen to love songs about some past partner that the singer misses and all you can think about, in order to relate/make the song more personal and meaning, is some sort of oneitis or semi-close friend?

Nah, haven't had friends outside of work acquaintences for my entire life and I've only been on 2 dates and I don't even remember what we did at this point.
I just listen to things that make me happy at this point,
I went on one date with a 9/10 when I was a freshman in high school
Now I still think about her every day

I don't listen to love songs because I cannot relate to them. Listen to something else.

I don't know about love songs, but I used to listen to Blow Up The Outside World by Soundgarden and think, if there's anything genuine there, this fucker's gonna kill himself one day. Lo and behold
