I'm back from the dead.

Life has been hectic for the last little while and there's some pretty major changes on the horizon for me and L. Nothing bad mind you, not like I'm blind yet or anything.

Due to some office politics I was one of the people who was sent out of country for a business trip. During the length of which I spent a fair amount of time talking with a number of individuals from my industry. Turns out I left quite the impression with a couple of the reps from a certain corporation from back home.

Shortly after I get back, I get contacted with a job offer from them. The decision to accept it was made all the easier by L's absolute elation at the prospect.
Long story short, I've been doing a lot of traveling for work since then and I will likely be 'permanently' relocated within the country, or what's seems to be increasingly likely, somewhere else in the world.

I've talked to L about what we'll do if I end up getting situated in another country and she, being as stubborn as she is, has made it 100% clear that she will be moving with me regardless.
So for the next month or two I'm sitting on my hands waiting to see what happens.

If I had to pick a song name to describe how I'm doing, it'd be "Dying Slowly." I got the day off because my body is afflicted. Definitely at least 2 ear infections, achy muscles, sore joints, and I got a nosebleed as I was pulling into my driveway. On the bright side, I got most of the stuff out of my right ear and heard clearly from it for the first time in probably 3 weeks. I'm gonna take another shower and clean my ears again, maybe do something with my family today

I'm pretty good actually, in a great mood. My head isn't hurting much today, the weather is nice, my stocks are going up, my sister is just adorably cute today, I'd say if my mom gets hit by a truck my life can't get much better.

No I have not, and yes it sucks. I've been using my sister's ear drops from when she had an ear infection for the last few days, it's been helping a bit. Should be even better now that I don't have earplugs in 9 hours a day for the next few days.
