Why do women talk in deeper voices when they talk to me? Anyone else experience this?
>>38086181
Do they call you "bro" too?
>>38086181
Women raise the pitch of their voices when they're talking to men they find attractive kek
>>38086181
Women's voice raise in pitch when talking to a male that they're interested in. They all only see you as a friend. Sorry senpai.
>>38086211
they do i'm not even kiddding
>>38086244
really? and i thought it's because i make them feel awkward because im a shy awkward fuck
i guess i was chad the whole time
>>38086181
Shit they do this to me too. I think there trying to be slow and clear like talking to children or old people. Probably because I act like a retard around women. Being alone forever really sucks I've forgotten how to be normal.
>>38086181
so they can boss you around
>>38086252
People subconsciously talk in a deeper voice to people they see below them socially. When a girl talks in a higher pitched voice it's because she thinks the guy she's talking to is her superior and she's trying to be feminine/submissive.
>>38086349
>>38086360
and my voice is kinda soft, so does that make them think that I'm submissive?
>>38086181
When the source of a sound is moving away from you it makes the soundwaves longer, and thus deeper.
They don't. That's their actual voice.
It's just that you hear them talking to chad, they're raising their voice to sound cute and fuckable.
Basically, they think you're disgusting.
>>38086441
I'm not even close to disgusting tho, I'm 5'7, 123lbs, and I have a pretty cute baby face.. So I know I'm not ugly lol
I hear women talk in a deeper voice when they're PRETENDING to be nice to someone, then when the person's gone they'll rip 'em apart behind their back.
Women are toxic like that.
>>38086405
Top kek.
Moot block
Guy with deep voice here, AMA
>>38086480
None of those are masculine traits, anon. Baby face, short stature, being skinny, those are all feminine traits. Women aren't attracted to feminine traits.
>>38086655
A person's voice sounds deeper to themselves, cuckold.
>>38086397
It makes them think you're not masculine. I.E. not attractive.
There's a reason broad shouldered, ripped dudes with wide jaw lines and deep voices are almost always universally attractive to women.
>>38086659
But why not? I can,
1) Jump around with them
2) Usually be the same height or shorter
3) empathize and cry with them
>>38086669
I have been told many times i have a deep voice by many people, i have listened to my voice on recordibgs and thought "wow thats deep", and my parents have deep voices.

Women actually lower their voices and men raise their voices, when they are attracted to someone. The opposite of what some anons are saying. They will meet more in the middle.

Source? Or are you being an armchair psychologist?
theyre uncomforatble around you
>>38086244
this. this whore of a roommate acts suddenly cutesy with a stupid high pitched voice when shes with her boyfriend. Its so fucking annoying,
>>38086847
Your voice raises when you're nervous, and lowers when you're super comfortable/feel dominant. So both could be true, a guy could raise his voice when talking to a girl he fancies because he's nervous, or he could lower his voice because he's a player and he's super confident/wants to project a masculine aura. This stuff is complicated and there's no simple formula you can follow to know what someone is thinking.
>>38086360
>Im now thinking about all the people I can think of who speak with a lower vocal pitch when speaking to me
>>38086719
Because women are attracted to traits in men that would help them survive. Aggression, physical and social dominance, brute force, etc etc. Attraction is based on animal instincts.
Obviously there are outliers to both genders as to what they're attracted to but generally sexual dimorphism makes it so traits in the opposite gender are more attractive to you.

Lets see pic, faglet.
>>38086244
mfw i do that too, when i speak to strangers my voice is always higher than when i speak to my familly or to myself
>>38086181
People instinctively talk in a higher pitch around people they respect and in a lower pitch around people they don't really care about
It's a status thing. Lowering your voice makes you sound bigger and tougher
So yeah, they aren't really trying to impress you. I wouldn't read into this too much and dictate your experiences with women off this one factoid but that's what it is. They might just feel comfortable around you or they might be talking down to you.
>>38086719
this has to be bait, right? oreganoli
Ok, I'm not very good in english.
High pitched means more feminine and low pitched means more masculine or manly voice?
>>38087834
yes
low pitch darker/deeper, manly
high pitch the opposite
>>38087881
Thank you.
So what does it mean when women talk in a low pitched voice with me?
>>38087908
They're not trying to submit to you. Meaning they don't find you attractive or high value.
>>38088038
So when they go deep voice, they'er not attracted and whey they go low, they're attracted?
What is the source for this?
>>38088085
Look at the articles posted earlier in the thread. And generally yes you are correct. That's how sexual dimorphism works.
>>38088115
>http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2442369/Do-fancy--Womens-voices-huskier-mens-higher-pitched.html
But it says the opposite, doesn't it?
>>38088158
>>38088158
No, it says men's voices become higher pitched because they're generally nervous around women they're attracted to. Generally women will eventually feel superior to the guy she's been with because she knows she has him by the balls and she probably wears the pants in the relationship.
>>38088227
I just realized that the guy who posted the link says the opposite of what you said
>Women actually lower their voices and men raise their voices, when they are attracted to someone. The opposite of what some anons are saying. They will meet more in the middle.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news anon, but the "women" you ask about, they are either cross-dressers, transvestites or pre-op transsexuals.
Go ahead and cry, anon, it's really for the best.
