You get something to do. Keep occupied, excercise, learn new shit, earn money. You will interact with people whether you want or not that way, so the social component is atleast somewhat satisfied. You will become increasingly bitter and hunger for intimacy, but those are things you can live with.

I was in a similar place. Lonely as hell for the first semester. I was lucky an upperclassman asked me to play a board game once.

Bawww. Im 30 and I've gone my entire life without friends. Who cares. Just pick up a daily habit of smoking weed and playing some vidya and you won't even care after awhile. People are just boring and annoying shits that get in the way of having fun.

Well, you just have to learn to take it easy, which is difficult when you are so isolated that any human in your vicinity seems like a potentiall threat. Back when I was in school I also was a recluse, but the forced social contact kept me in line. I just calmed down and went through my day, not minding other people and doing my shit.
Like I said, two main components are:
1) searching for something where you are forced to interact with others, not making friends, just co-operating and exchanging usuall smalltalk.
2) have something you are passionate about, you will have that on your mind constantly and everything else will just be a secondary blur. That one is the most important imo. get yourself a purpose, everythig else will align.

The bitterness will be there still, but you will be able to suppress it and have some peaceful days.

Yeah, this is what I do.

My job provides all the social interaction I need. And I make money while doing it. So its like killing two birds with one stone.

I have no real life friends and manage entirely on online friends. Problem is even those circles I do talk in there have become filled with normalfags and annoying attentionwhores to the point where I can rarely even manage to go there anymore.
I did manage to talk to someone from /r9k/ online recently that I actually enjoyed alot, but then he disappeared into nowhere. By now I've realized I'm more dependant on human interaction than I like to admit and it's driving me crazy.

Me too, I made a good friend a while ago and he just stopped responding completely to me three weeks ago. Makes me wonder why I even bother with making friends online anymore, they either talk to you everyday for a couple of months then ghost you when they become bored of you, or they only come online to talk once a month.
