I only shower when I'm on my period.
I mean when I'm on my period I only shower, not that I don't bathe the rest of the time...
I had my stitches taken out yesterday and I decided to soak with epsom salt to help remove the gauze packed in my wound since it was put in dry so the pad was stuck to the wound.
Blood came out from the wound and gauze and the water turned light brown.

The wound is very healthy; it won't get infected unless I decided not to keep it cleaned for a week.

Is OP ftm?
>>38051674
I'm cis male.
>>38051635
bathing with an open wound is not recommended op. youre basically soaking it in all the bacteria on your body/ ass/ feet/ hands by taking a bath like this.
taking that risk is up to you, im just letting you know its a stupid one.

It was instructed by my doctor.
It has helped heal wounds before.
>>38051784
so you had a fistula? just letting you know this doesn't help with healing. its for minor pain relief. enjoy your recurring ass problems op

From what source are you getting this information?
I've never had any complications when soaking with epsom salt.
