I apparently have a decent face and the pieces to be attractive. Yet I am overweight. I would say 4/10 when it's all said and done but the girls who seem attracted to me before they realize how shitty of a personality I have range from obviously love struck in the 1-3/10 range, interest in the 4-5/10 range, and mild interest in the 6-7/10 range.

id like to think im a 6 on a good day but probably a 4 on a bad day.

I don't know, maybe a genuine 6? 5 maybe. I've been told I'm higher from some people, but I think they're not lying, just have lower standards because they're also about the same level.

From my good angle, looking in the mirror to make sure all is right, I think I can reach an 8.

Used to date someone who was a straight up 9 in terms of looks, personality, and things like life (wealth and such) so maybe to some I'm more. But then, that ended eventually so I guess that it isn't a lasting effect.

I want to go with the meme and say if I wasn't so fat I'd be better looking. But I was thinner a few years back and looking at me in pictures my face reminds me of when Jonah Hill lost that weight and looked fucked up as a result.

Just trim it, i trim all my hair from the neck down including legs and arms with a hair trimmer, just choose a size you like.
Start at something like 5mm to see if you like it and make it shorter after that if you want, i usually do 3mm.
For the first time try to do it in the winter when you use pants so if you fuck up it's not a big deal until you find the correct length you like.
