Greetings, I start my new job tomorrow. I've been neeting it up for the last 2 weeks, it's been a nice window to look through but as much as I hate working I need it to keep me sane. I don't know how people can stay neets for so long, my family's financial status and work ethic prevent that from happening to me.

Thanks! I'm going to be a head cashier at Lowe's. I moved back home from college and it's taken a month to finally get transferred to a store in my home town. Idk if that really counts as being a NEET but it was long enough for me haha
Pay week is nice ain't it? Lucky I got my last one 2 weeks ago and haven't really spent any of it. I also need to get a new pair of Vans, waiting until weekend to get them

Exactly! I'm getting pumped to finally get my own apartment with no roommates, idk how people live with their parents all their life. It is sad, honestly there's plenty of jobs out there that pay $10 an hour full time, not the best but I mean hell it's better than nothing. I guess they don't want to give up the lifestyle

in america, yes. I have a NEET friend in germany, they receive up to 400-800 euros a month AND paid rent. No wonder so many refugees want to go to germany. That being said you still get way more than 400-800 euros a month if ur working but then you'd have to pay for rent and such.

I dropped out of school and started working at a warehouse where I pick up heavy boxes all day. Is this what im going to be doing until im 50? Should I just end it now?

I go to one of the best colleges in the country, and I can't even get a job at McCuck's -- and the very instant that I do get a job, one of the most painful and humiliating diseases out there disables me for the rest of the summer. I spent the first half of the summer trying to get a job and start some kind of routine, and now, I'll spend the second half of the summer in bed with stitches up my ass that prevent me from even bending over. I want to die

The only saving grace from this is that I will have a ton of time to study for my CCNA, which will help me get an internship next summer, but I'm dreading next summer's internship interview when they inevitably ask, "So Anon, what did you do last summer??? Oh, you had ass cancer, I see, very well, then"
