When I was working security at a hospital, there was a homeless schizophrenic BPD patient who came into the emergency room at least 5 times a week. She was tall and husky too, so the entire ER staff was afraid of her. The sad part is that she actually used to be a nurse (in a different state) before her mind betrayed her. She treated all of the nurses and doctors like crap, so they did likewise and I ALWAYS ended up having to escort her out. Upper management refused to get a restraining order on her, even though it was clear that she was abusing the system and using our hospital as a makeshift hotel room. One nurse actually quit because she was tired of being forced to deal with her on all of her shifts. Near the end of my time at the hospital, the doctor on duty would just walk into her room as soon as she was admitted and hand her release forms.

I had to call state police on her a total of five times, two of which led to her resisting arrest. She always made a scene whenever she was asked to leave the hospital, usually yelling at the top of her lungs and throwing whatever was closest to her. One story sticks out in particular:

>asks me for a container for her to pee is, as she believes she might be preggo. I give it to her
>proceeds to have diarrhea
>tells me that she found ticks in her vagina
>I call a nurse over to have her take a look
>schizo patient wasn't bullshitting, there are actually ticks in and around her vagoo
>nurse is visibly disgusted, but helps her remove them and puts them in a separate container

I tried to convince her to stay and have it looked at, but she wasn't having any of it. It was a shitty situation all-around. The staff hated her, she hated them, and she had obvious mental health issues that we weren't equipped to deal with. My boss still texts me whenever she comes in and tells me what crazy thing she did that day. She actually bit the new security guard, and he's claiming that he is going to press charges against the security company for failing to provide proper training
