It's not really the wage slaving that is so bad, but the POS humans you have to deal with.

I need this job. I'm 20 and I've sent out applications like wildfire for more than a month, I finally settled for this position because they accepted my application and scheduled an interview where I was offered a job. Nowhere in the fine print did it say I would me the dishwashers bitchboy going through a hazing ritual of rapid fire tasks unaffiliated with what I was hired for.

I wageslave at a grocery store for minimum wage, my shift is late in the afternoon with this fucking stupid spic who's been there over 10 years and still somehow doesn't know English, but is probably making 3x more than me for years put in alone. It's in the produce department so I'm constantly lifting heavy boxes of shit, my wrists and back already hurts all the time. I'm literally destroying my health.
Life sucks.

My day manager seems cool as hell, but I'm unfamiliar with the one I had tonight.
I just feel kind of cheated and wronged by how my coworkers or the manager didn't stop me to inform me I have a right to a lunch break. Man...
If anything the confused gaggle of coworkers in flux were piling on more work for me to do, so I felt obligated to take down everything as it came because the big mountain of silverware on my table was daunting and unrealistic for one person.
I feel like they are making me work a two man gig.

One of my instructors during training was a Mexican man who worked at the location for a decade, same position as me.
I don't understand how they can be content with that type of work. No English.
Lifting is the same story for me, lifting huge platters or dishes, my lower-mid back feels so tense and aching.
I have to bend down to reach my work area sometimes and I'm too tall so I'm just fucking my posture.

IDK. I worked at a grocery store and had to stand while checking groceries all day. I was always worthless at the end of the day and my feet ached. I couldnt go for a jog after work or before. If I did it before, I would start feeling extremely sore about halfway through my shift.

Never really got used to it, and even the Marine we had complained about it. Cashiers in Europe get chairs and stools, but in the land of the free big business likes to make sure work is as painful as possible.
