I have no life outside of the people I talk to here in my room, I feel like I spent a huge portion of my life just trying to get back to this place.

I used to think I was a video game addict with no self control, but this was a completely different time sink in my life.

I've built an identity around it, because this is my life, being a nothing posting about nothing, complaining, always trying to to take the edge off by connecting with someone I share a fleeting connection with.

It's all so terrible. I tried to quit before but to no avail. I don't know what else to do anymore. He's right about having to "work up" the motivation to do anything other then 4chan after a while, plus this mixed with porn...idk

I want to. I've always been aware that it harms me, and I've even had people tell me to stop and that its not good for me. I have friends from here though, and I dont know how to just cut them out. If I just block them and dont look back, I'll feel regret for not telling them why. If I tell them why, they'll unintentionally drag me back in. I dont know how to escape the people Ive surrounded myself with
