The mistake you guys make is assuming that all normies are happy. Egg has a lot of normie traits, in fact his only real problem is his looks, but that doesn't mean life has been easy for him. I'm sure his depression and dark episodes were legit, but he doesn't suffer from social retardation like most robots, this is clear.
