most people suicide because they don't see a purpose in life. Whats so glorious or cowardly about doing what they believe in?

That's actually the only thing stopping me. Every time I think about ending it, I realize it would break my mom. I know that logically it doesn't matter because we're all going to die anyway, but thinking about hurting my mom like that would bring me more pain than the future pain I know I'll have to deal with by living.

Hard to do. If you wanna commit suicide its gunna take some hard work and determination. A weak person wouldn't consider it an option

Neither. It is a disorder. Suiciders are mostly people whose self-preservation instinct doesn't kick in when needed. Given that it is the strongest and the most basic instinct, lack of it is a serious issue. In normal condition, it won't let you kill yourself. This "prohibition" is what's seen as "fear of death" by all the edgelords.

How glorious it is really depends on the individual. Some people want to go out as if life was GTA V. Some people just want to drift away quietly.
