This is a great answer. Their arms are bound so they wouldn't be able to resist you approaching with your tongue waggling out, and the others in the lineup would likely approach you as a reflex, opening up at least a little bit of the road for a car to pass by. Once there's a steady stream of cars going through one small open part of their lineup, their blockade is over. And you'd be very unlikely to be brought up on any kind of charges for this, because the police are already pretty resentful of these folks in the first place.
