it's not even a debate for us, that pets give us much more love and companionship but the best thing is they do all that while not judging at all.
well my dog is sleeping a lot anons. it's getting tired a lot. im spending every second with it. vet told it has around 1 month. i can't deal with it anons.

I had two dogs who were brothers and had them since they were 8 weeks old.
10 years later I lived in my parents house while they were away travelling and tell me I have 1 month to move out. Struggle to find a dog friendly place. My dad puts my dogs on gumtree and gives them away to a family against my will when they were 11.
That was 5 years ago and I have never forgiven my father whom I don't get on well with anyway and withheld all emotional connect from him.
I wonder if I am silly for doing so because it won't bring them back but I cannot forgive him and he still thinks he did nothing wrong to this day. I still think of them everyday and I've woken up crying in the middle of the night after dreaming about them.

We found her in a field of sunflowers back when she was like 1 or 2, she was really skinny and had her back leg stuck in her collar. I think we saved her life, and we've given her a long happy life. She kinda liked to hide away where it's warm, but when I'm at their house I always go look for her and pet her for a while while sitting with her

Hi anon. I posted a pet thread too, talking about my cat i had to put down yesterday.
I've also had her for about 5 years or so. Even though Im a catfag, Im sorry. First time I legitimately broke down and couldn't control myself emotionally in years, after they put her down. I'm a bit numb after the fact, but I'm slowly accepting the fact of what happened.

Don't expect dogs, even small dogs to live that long. I thought my llasa apso was gonna live to be 20+ years but she died at 13. Killed me emotionally because I didn't get to see her one last time before she passed away. It changed me from being totally career minded to living my life more though
