My fat fucking fingers keep muting strings even though I'm playing on my finger tips.
Also I still find myself slow as hell changing fingers.

Play music you like listening to. All the sick as shit metal bands popping up recently started as cover bands.

Idk what you're listening to but start easy. If you're sat there counting days until u git gud its not gonna fun. Playing should be something you enjoy. A lot.

Well I like King gizzard and the lizzard wizard and learning the tabs to people vultures is actually a lot of fun and made me feel a little better.
However some I can't play shoegaze or music like Tame impala until I buy pedals.
I'll still take your advice though thanks.
