I phrased that poorly, I didn't mean it as in excluding hobbies that might be considered masculine, I meant it as in they have interests that I'd want in a wife, like wanting kids, not shunning house work, etc.

Well in that case you just werent what she was looking for. Personally ive found girls like someone who can be a bit of a "bad boy" . They want someone exciting as well as dependable. But im 22 so i can only refer to girls around high school to college age.

They want that only for a bit. After awhile, they want a combo. Someone they know can protect them, but at the same time be super sweet and loving.

It also really depends on the girl. I normally have fallen for super nerds (same with my sister). We both have are CCW in a state that's hard to get one in. We don't need someone to protect us. We just want someone who will treat us well.
