I've been in a mental hospital twice and didn't make a single friend either time. There are Normies, Mentall ill people and Mentally ill Normies. Most people in the hospital are Mentally ill Normies

I went to an all female psych ward for a few months when I was 16. I didn't make any friends.

there are normies , a lot ... but it also depends what department you are hospitalized in.
