I think they can be depressed and anxious. It's just that women are allowed to be weak, so they actually get lots of support and positive attention if they display their weaknesses to everyone. Which means depression and anxiety are significantly less of a hindrance for women. The same concept goes for autism, too. Well at the time I was always miserable, totally isolated and thought I was going insane.

Afterwards I realized you couldn't trust or rely on anyone but yourself so I isolated myself and didn't trust other people at all. A lot of emotional instability too. Also knowing that despite all the shit I went through and how much it fucked me up it was basically my fault for being such a weak piece of shit, even if I try to excuse it with "I was just a dumb kid" I had no good reason to be like that. Felt a lot of bitterness towards parents and teachers, no matter how much of tried to hide it my behavior was very erratic and an adult should have noticed and cared but no one seemed to. I've worked with mentally ill/at risk people most of my adult life.

Young women who are (and claim they are) are the most difficult people in the world to deal with. Drama follows them everywhere. They cry. They break things. They cry. They assault people. They cry. They steal. They abuse drugs. They scream. Oh and they cry.

I'd say 90% were/are sexually abused. They love to call the call the cops on their boyfriends and have as many children as possible. They scratch and fight like wild animals. After around age 25 they mellow out a bit though.

Whenever a young female case would come in everyone in the office argues about who take it. Good times
