I never thought he was funny. he was more of a political commentary kind of guy. He didn't really tell many actual jokes, he just kind of got up on his soapbox and preached to the crowd.

Patrice O'Neal (rip) is great for robots. Look up his short lived relationship advice show called "Black Philip" on YouTube. His stand up is great too.

I wouldn't say he's a meme, but I have found myself reassessing some of his material. It's become more obvious to me that his world view was strongly influenced by white liberal guilt (for lack of a better term). I haven't listened to any of his stuff in a long time, but I imagine that I would cringe at some of it now. A lot of his stuff is truly timeless, though.
