I think some of the map designs are stupid, but I really enjoy everything else about the game.

Same here, some of the map design is retarded(conjuring necrodragons on a swamp map), but the voice acting, music, and pretty much everything else makes up for it. The cutscenes are a bit rough compared to fates/awakening but they don't bother me much.
