We don't mobilize our ground forces as much as we did during Afghanistan and Iraq is all I'm saying. If you were to sign up today as an infantryman you probably wouldn't deploy unless you were a Ranger or other SOF, and even then you would likely be on base most of the time. So it's not a fully mobilized military right now
