Why Does Being Evil Feel So "Right"?

I've always been a pretty morally deficient person. But the thing is, the stuff that's called immoral genuinely makes me very happy. Cruelty, in particular, can be a wonderful thrill. Really scaring the shit out of someone can produce a rush that even cocaine can't match, and without any apparent crash!

But I'm not one to lie to myself. I know intellectually that this is all very bad. But I just feel like "evil" behavior is so much fun. The euphoria of really torturing someone strikes so fucking deep. I usually restrain these impulses, knowing that I must pay respect to the better angels of my nature, but that basic desire for 'cruelty for sport' is still there. Without a doubt, making fun of, emasculating and just generally tyrannizing over other people is extremely fun.
