I've eaten a white onion raw and uncut before. like an apple that I had to constantly salt. I love fried onion rings, and put onions on a lot of food. However I don't eat raw red onion rings specifically like that by themselves.

I still remember being like 10 years old and going to a restaurant periodically with my dad and I would always get a hamburger every time -- and then one day they put onions on it and when I bit into it I though OH MY GOD THIS TASTES 1000 TIMES MORE DELICIOUS WITH ONION ON IT.
