Father wants to me to get a job

I had a heat discussion with my father.
He basically told me:

>why haven't you found a job yet?
>you are going to forget what you did learn in college.
>why haven't you told Ralph about this?, he can help you get a job, as soon as you get his help then cut all contact with him, I don't like him.

by the way, Ralph is cousin from my mother's side of family and the only relative that I'm in contact with.

We proceeded to had an almost violent argument about how I don't want to use like a jizz rag my friends and how I'm not going to do so, he called me a coward.
