Try some triangle breathing. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 5, exhale for 6.
The numbers can be longer/shorter, just as long as all 3 are different (and relatively slow). It'll force you to focus hard on your breathing and hopefully stymie your panic attack a little!!
