There are comparatively few jobs in the Navy you can do without having to go onto a ship at some point in your career, and for enlisted that means living in the cramped ship, even in port. At least in the Army you're guaranteed a barracks room. Even the shittiest barracks is better than the enlisted berthing on a ship.

If you have non combat skills it can be a good job you'll make some friends due to being forced to work together and your dad will love you forever.

Go to an airforce recruiter. It's not as much of a joke as everyone says it is in terms of a challenge, but it's very manageable for a robot. When I was in the Army I was at a joint base with the Airforce and they had their own Brony club and were filled with autistic robots. If some of those guys could do it, you can to.

Eventually though I realized I hated getting treated like shit every day in infantry life, that I'd rather sleep in and workout to look good, not get smoked all day er day and fuck my body just to flex to blue cord. So now I'm out as of 2 weeks ago and am using my G.I. bill to go to law school (was a moron and enlisted with a degree because muh infantry). Gonna try to go back in as a JAG (military lawyer) if they let me. The military can be a great thing, they have every job there is in the civilian world for the most part and the regimented life style can be sheltering in a way that robots might actually enjoy long term. Just make sure you pick a job you can actually see yourself doing day in and day out.

Air Force here. Joining was probably the best decision of my life. Decent pay and great benefits, including free housing food, insurance, and college. Just make sure you get a non retarded job; do your own research and don't let the recruiter force you into anything. Our PT test is the easiest, too.
