Isn't life just waiting?
When you're working, you're just waiting to get out of there and get home.
During the week, you're just waiting for the weekend.
All of this time, you're just waiting for the next vacation you can take.
Of course, in the end, you're just waiting to get out of school, finish your studies, get a new job or a promotion, maybe to retire so that your life can advance a little bit in this dreadfully long waiting game called "life".
This loathing of waiting permeates every facet of your life. You find yourself multitasking while watching anime, while watching a movie, while playing a game, because you can't stand waiting for the plot to advance, for the dialogue to end, for the loading screen to disappear.
In fact, when are you not waiting, aside from multi-channel shitposting? I went for a hike alone a few days ago. It must have been one of the rare times I wasn't waiting for anyone, for anything. When was the last time that happened to you?
The only moment when you're truly happy is when you're not waiting.
I wouldn't be waiting if cool things were happening in the here and now
In the end, we're all just waiting to die, is that not what life is?only 53 years until I'm 79 and meet the us life expectancy, I can't wait

That's not true at all. Then you'd be anxiously waiting for when those cool things end.
