I though about atheism many times. In my perception, the belief in the afterlife is cowardice in a sense that you can't accept eternal oblivion, so with my pushy persona I can't accept myself to be afraid of something like non-existence. But God himself may exist and I may pretty much believe in him. It's just that I don't want to believe in the afterlife since it seems like a loser's way out of one's misery.
