Apparently, cats just see humans as large cats. How do we come to terms with this?

I'm not sure about cats tbqh but I know dogs think you're part of the pack.
To be more precise, you're the alpha of his pack hence why they like you so much.
You're both their family and boss.
Dogs are awesome.

Why did you copy my thread from months ago? lmao
get a dog
originaly, of course
Even cats think that OP is a giant pussy.
i love my small humans and i know they love me even if im a giant hairless idiot cat that can't hunt or groom or meow well
Birds are far superior poofs
>see one grainy black and white image
>hur cats dink we r catz 2!! xDD
You guys are taking basic human intelligence for granted. Of course a cat or a dog can't differentiate between other animals, every other animal they probably think as an oddly-shaped or oddly-sized version of whatever animal they are
I'd guess only higher apes, dolphins, and elephants can make these distinctions
Penguin /master race/

I'm sure some birds can too.

Are you automatically alpha or do you have to earn it
>>37808006
Octopus is smart as fuck.
Some birds too, from Ravens and Crows to some Parrots.
Ravens are so crazy that if you get one to be your friend he will visit you to give you gifts from time to time.
They also can be creepy as fuck since they can technically talk.

With dog's you have to earn it, keep them trained and don't let them just do what they want consequence free. That doesnt mean be like hugely strict, you have to be "fair" or they wont respect you either
basically just keep them trained and happy and you are

If you feed him and he knows you since he was little it's pretty much guaranteed you will be his alpha from day one.
After that it's dedication for life pretty much.
Dogs were breed to work in symbiosis with men since the stone age so it's expected.
