60-something year old autistic man-child who throughout his life was somewhere between tolerable goof and violent retard.

I used to think that the whole side of my dad's family was fucked up but as it turns out he's autistic black sheep of the family. He has like 8 siblings and they all talk to each other and they try to reach out to him but he just sits on the couch with his mustache.

He never talked to talks to me. It was always "When are you getting a job? How are your grades? When are you applying to university? What'd you do all day?" and never fucking norla shit that one's father would ask their kid like "how are you?" or "what are you into?". Same with my siblings.

I'm not being dramatic when I'm calling him autistic, he really seems to be on the spectrum. He only has two or maybe three interests that he's really really really really into and doesn't care about the rest of the world.


He also doesn't wash his hands after going to the washroom, he shits all over the toilet seat, he's a hoarder, and he wears his shoes indoors.

He's an extreme optmist and a huge pushover. Mom treated him like a slave for 15 years then left. He lost his job and wasn't assertive enough to get anything near as good as his last job. One of the nicest guys I know, but the world has broken him.

All he does now is sulk and go to the bar when he is done working. All of our conversations end with him proclaiming that he hates everyone. It really makes me sad to see this change, so I'm especially nice to him and visit often. Happy fathers day, dad.
