Did it for half a year.

>first month was great
>most of the time I spent painting or on some other weird projects
>slowly during my second month the usual feeling of "reward" got fucked up
>"why do I have to paint and do other activities that required effort if I can just feel good just by a simple fap or ending credits of a vidya"
>the standard daily schedule eventually turned into: wake up at 13 pm, fap, eat, vidya, watch a movie while eating, browse 4chan, fap, eat + Youtube, vidya, sleep at 4 am
>occasional special days included bingewatching some show or just vidya without sleeping, eating or drinking
>binge and vidya marathons exhausted me almost to the point of passing out
>since I didn't do anything else besides sitting at the screen, my room slowly filled with trash and dust
>I started avoiding friends and family because of the embarrassing state of my being
>still continue doing it because fap, vidya and movie/shows put me into a blissful state where I could forget about anything that happened outside my apartment
>I didn't do any laundry so I was mostly just naked to make the clothes that I had decent enough to go shopping
>didn't store food because that required effort, only got some random food for 3 days tops and that was a stretch
>never visited a store or burgerplace twice in a row so people wouldn't think I'm weird
>also chose unfamiliar clerks when cashing out
>while running out of money at the beginning of the seventh month my shame and desperation drove me to the point of taking a waiter job at a restaurant because that was immediately available

My NEET experience ended up making me taking a job which I was afraid to death of. While the job still was a miserable experience in the end, it wasn't as bad as my NEET time and I was getting money.

I still have quite a shitty job and no clear motivation to achieve my goals though. Weekend

Never fucking again.

I used to like it, now I just live the NEET life because I'm addicted to it. I despise it.

I was a full blown NEET when I was 20. Best fucking time of my entire life, I'll literally never get over it.

>mommybux
>50 brand new steam games
>30 different anime downloaded to my laptop
>stocked up on Code red and Doritos
>had long hair looked looked like a trap
>old men buying me stuff online
>black guys sending me dick pics and talking with them on the phone


Now I'm fucking taller than ever, hairy, fat and miserable... woohoo staarting college in fall (old) and being a wageslave.

Spending this time in my old room at my parents place. Closer to nature, free food, my old cat and my parents ofc; gonna be nice.

It's great for the first few years if you're some 19 year old kid which most everyone here is.

It's basically a staycation.

When you're 25+ it's counting down every grain of sand through the hourglass until you wake up one day and your parents are dead and you're the weird uncle and your one life has been completely and irreversibly wasted.

Shit gets real old real fast when it becomes a daily chore that takes up all of your waking hours rather than a fun hobby that you do in the evening after work/studying.

You're not a NEET for literally a summer vacation or a few months. That's literally just a regular vacation. You're a NEET when it's been years since you left the house for any real reason.

Most people enjoy variety. Personally, I loathe doing the same thing every day- the key aspect of NEETdom. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy being a NEET past the 1st month.

You finally feel free to do whatever you like. Thing is though it becomes a problem. When you have to start functioning as a human being again you long for being a NEET again. Eventually you'll start to hate it. Obviously everyone wants free time but I use most of it the 4 day weekend I get from college. I get bored past a week. Hell I sometimes just wanna go there because I haven't got much productive stuff to do.

My advice is this: if you go NEET, prepare as if it was a permanent change. That way, you don't have to go back to working at all, even if you fuck yourself up.

Just a pro-tip from someone who's studied how to FIRE.

Currently living as a NEET

>vidya all day every day
>played one game 27 hours straight the other day
>energy drinks and coffee make up 90% of my body
>the few times I sleep I sleep for long hours
>fap whenever I want

But I do stay lonely, and always feel sick.
