How do you make friends?

I had the same friends since highschool and they have all moved on or actually died. Or just became complete psycho losers who got addicted to drugs.
I have found it pretty impossible to make friends as a adult.

Is it possible to make friends as a adult? Or will they always be temporary things like girlfriends? Using you to some end until something better or they are done with you? Or nothing at all?

How many friends do you have into adulthood? that you can actually call a friend?

Lots of anime sure shows friendship as this sacred unbreakable bond. Is that kind of friendship as fake as the anime itself?

How do you cope without friends?
I have not really had one for almost 10 years...
I tell myself its because I don't want any. But thats probably bullshit.

Friends are a meme and aren't worth the disappointment. Just do your own thing and don't worry about other people. I recommend outdoorsy shit like fishing or hiking.
