Why do normies overreact about everything so much? Even if a joke is really funny, you don't have to go LOLOLOL WHAHAHA LITERALLY FUNNIEST THING EVER. Why can't you just like a show/movie/franchise without going full 14 year old fangirl on it? Why can't they handle anything outside their comfort zone? (OMG this is the weirdest video I've ever seen WTF WTF WTF).
I have no friends (obviously) but I would kinda like to get out there and talk about my interests but every fanbase is infested with people that are so fucking obsessed you can't talk about your interest on a normal level.
It's part of the social song and dance, get used to it. You don't have to go THAT overboard but you do need to show a reasonable amount of interest.
Being an emotionless robot is the best way to stay friendless forever.

I have hobbies, passions, books, tv shows, movies I really like. Hell I would like to think I have a lot of diverse interests but there is like, no room for nuance. Emotionless, I'm quite the opposite.
I've been friendless pretty much my whole life (28 yo) and I'm done with that. Especially since I have a stable job now that results me in having lots of money but nothing to spend it on. I would like to spend it by seeing people and enjoying stuff together.

maybe I just need a vacation but traveling alone is scary when you are as socially inept as I am.
