i dunno, seems fairly normal to me.
Maybe slightly receding on one side but not much.
I got almost the same but it hasn't started receding yet, just kinda stays like that.
maybe it has something to do with skull shape I really have no idea.

Use putty and hairspray instead of gel, it adds volume pretty well
