Don't worry, Anon. I can't promise that it'll get any better, nobody can promise that. But I do hope things turn out for the best. Don't give up.

My current boss took a chance on me when he offered me a job, and I felt like shit on the first few days. Felt like I wanted to quit and run away because I thought I was in over my head and knew I'd disappoint him for ever giving a piece of shit like me a chance. But it's been nearly two years and I've gotten used to it all and I've heard comments from our truck drivers that he really appreciated the work I've done for the company and is glad I work for him.
