Does anyone know if I can find a comfy rv or trailer or van for under two grand ?I just got kicked out and am now working sheet rock with people who don't speak English and although it pays well its not my true passion which is music. Now I know so far it doesn't sound so bad but the real reason I wanna do this is because I have no time for practice, due to my current job. I like the money but I've realized that if I get some sort of cheap shelter, some 300 dollar soler panels, and buy my water from water jugs from the local wall Mart. With the panels I would not need to pay for power (although now that I think about they are not very necessary ), I could shower/drink with the jugs of water, and use them when empty for easy disposing of wastes.
As for the shelter it does not have to be anything in particular just big enough to lie down in for sleep.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Craigslist.
Also, you generally have to pay to live like that unless you are sneaky and can avoid cops. That's a huge headache right there. The reason cops love to harass campers is because fugitives and criminals do the same thing.
Go for it if you really want but it's much, much easier to live in an apartment or house like a normal person.

My only issue with my current situation is the lack of schedule.
I did not realize construction work with illegals would be so unpredictable in terms of working days.
I just want two days out of the week when my band is free it really sucks.
