I agree that flags ruin anonymity on most boards (I liked the previous /pol/ flag system though), but thread IDs are literally just to stop samefag trolling and shitposting. I wouldn't want them everywhere though, just places where there's tons of circlejerking and funposting already, like /v/.

Well look at this board, lol.
Half the people on this board want to add each other on steam or discord or some shit. There's rate threads up a lot of the time like I'm browsing /soc/. Tripfags and their orbiters everywhere, etc.
Sometimes I wish this board wasn't so fucking awful.
