I liked Shit town and h3podcast can get interesting. However im new to podcasts and would like some recommendations as well.

Continuity and Change for Australian politics. Has a robot on it (me desu) and one of the other hosts is an orbiter.

Sword and Scale - Detailed stories of true crimes, often using various sound bites and interviews with the criminal and those affected
Cum Town - Three stand-up comedians riffing on shit for an hour.
Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast - Stand-up comedian rambles about shit
Worst Gig Ever - Interviews with musicians and comedians about the worst shows they've ever played and tons of other horror stories from being on tour, unfortunately ended a few years back. Entertaining even if you don't know the band or comedian.
The Grift - Accounts of cons and scams, often with interviews with the con artist
The Nine Club with Chris Roberts - weekly interview with a pro skater, discussing how they got into it and various stories from that life. The Mike Sinclair and Jeremy Wray episodes are really good. Probably not that interesting if you don't skate.
The Uninformed Radio Show - Was a radio show in the mid 00s featuring Bill Burr and Joe DeRosa trying to learn about shit by bringing in an expert while morons would call in. Really funny. You can find all the episodes on archive.org

Lately I've checked out Dan Carlins stuff, at least whats out on Spotify, and i have to say, Hardcore History and Common Sense are quite good imo
