The only thing I miss from the 90s was the nightlife. It was prevalent, and it was "in". Fashion was marketed for it and there was an entire generation just for it. Then 2002 happened, and it just... Stopped.
Now everything is just stale, you never know when to go if you decide to go clubbing which nobody does, and when you do, its just a bunch of people standing around drinking. Where is the fun? The dancing? The Matrix-tier party?
