Are fathers supposed to love their children?

Yes.

Yes,but in my experience, mothers tend to show more affection than fathers. Men will give up on their children more easily because they don't have the same bond as the mother.

thats one way to say it. in my family my dad trusts us to make our own decisions as adults. if you call that "giving up" than all right. my mom on the other hand still hasnt let go and im 23.
Am I supposed to feel bad for my moldy cum sock?Son?

I was using the context in the way OP probably means. My mother is the same way. Sometimes it's nice to have my father be more relaxed and allow me to make my own decisions, but I know if I made a bad decision, my mother would still love me. My father's love is more conditional. That's the context in which I used the words "giving up." Of course there are some who don't fit this mold. Jeffrey Dahmer's father invested a lot of time into bonding with son after he was arrested.
